Eligibility: Any individual or family participation in other USDA or DHR programs such as WIC, Medicaid, Food Stamps, Head Start, etc, or any agency servicing eligible clientele.

Purpose: To provide access for the population of the East Central Health District to properly store and handle vaccinations as required by Georgia law or recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and ACIP. They also audit all schools and daycare facilities in the area to monitor compliance with state laws.
Services Provided: Vaccinations. The following vaccines are available in each Health Department in the district: DT&P, OPV, IPV, Td, HIB, HEPB, flu, Pneumonia, Tetanus, and Chicken Pox. The following vaccines are available at the foreign travel clinic in Richmond County only. Yellow Fever, Rabies, and Hepatitis A.

Purpose: To assure eligible children with chronic health conditions receive specialty medical care.
Services Provided: CMS provides or pays for an array of services to include: comprehensive physical assessment, diagnostic testing, inpatient/outpatient hospitalization, medications and other medical treatments, therapy, durable and disposable medical equipment, hearing aids, health education, referral to and coordination of care with other providers and services as authorized by CMS.

Eligibility Requirements: Must be a resident of Georgia, birth to 21 years of age and meet the medical and financial eligibility requirements.
Fees: CMS does not bill families for services but families may be asked to participate in the payment of costs based on income. Insurance and/or Medicaid (if applicable) are always billed prior to CMS.
